Panerai is a brand that is very adept at marketing elements such as limited editions and specials. This year’s series of America’s Cup special editions are only limited, not only for the US team and the official launch of the competition, but also for the Japanese Softbank team. A limited edition of 150 PAM00732 was released to celebrate the Japanese team's 15-year absence to the America's Cup final again.

PAM00732 Japan Team Limited Edition is similar to the other America’s Cup limited edition PAM00727 because of the same functions. There are three main differences. One is that the silver pointer is changed to black and then coated with luminous paint. Since the dial is also black, it looks visually. The needle will be relatively thin; in addition, the stitching of the strap is replaced by the red and white main color of the Japanese flag instead of the red and blue double stitching; the last is the engraving on the solid metal bottom cover.
Originally the America’s Cup limited edition was the trophy logo for the competition, and PAM00732 was replaced with the words SoftBank Team Japan and the sailing pattern.
The watch is limited to 150 pieces. This special edition of this special edition is believed to be able to attract many diehard fans.
